A complete product from scratch. From the concept, script, audio, to execution. For my Time Based Type class, we were given the choice of several companies and brands and were tasked with creating a 30 second tv spot from scratch. A unique part of this creative process was the use of voice123 for hiring the voice talent.
The concept of this piece was to draw the connection between successful relationships and good food combinations.





For my Concepts & Storyboards class, we were assigned to create a 4 frame pitch for a new Kindle ad. In light of the recent iPad success, we were tasked with creating a new ad campaign concept that would separate the Kindle from the rest of the eReader pack. My concept explained how the Kindle could connect the reader with another world any time they wanted an escape from their own.

I was asked to create a title package for the college ministry of Buckhead Church to introduce their series entitled, “Prodigal God.” Based on the book of the same title, the theme they wanted to focus on was the prodigal nature of God’s grace.
Playing off the classic biblical story of the “Prodigal Son,” I wanted to concentrate on the element of the journey. The story in the piece is designed to meet the viewer where they are in their relationship with God. Whether they are struggling with their spiritual path, waiting on a sign from God, or have just seen God work in their life, this story can connect with them wherever they are.![]()



I shot the pieces with my Canon 7D and a manual 28mm lens. For the color tone and texture, I took the image below and animated it’s opacity, scale, and position in Final Cut. With the help of some blending modes, the look of this piece came together nicely.
